Clive Behavioral Health (CBH) is a modern, state-of-the-art, 134-bed licensed inpatient behavioral health hospital. Operating on two campuses in Iowa, Clive Behavioral Health West opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at our new hospital focuses on crisis management, stabilization, and development of a plan to return to community living. Clive Behavioral Health Des Moines is a 34-bed inpatient unit located on the MercyOne Des Moines campus. Care at this location is for adults experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis.

Patient Billing Specialist

The Billing Specialist generates bills for patient stays, follows up on submitted claims for reimbursement, works denied claims and sets up payment plans with patients. The Billing Specialist will be scheduled 40 hours per week. This is NOT a remote position.

Billing Specialist Job Requirements:

• 1 year of medical accounts receivable experience required.
• Good communication and relationship skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of medical terminology.
• At least one year of patient billing in a hospital setting

Education: Highschool diploma or equivilant

Hours: 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday
